Risk Finance and Insurance Services consists of three specialized units: Insurance Compliance, the Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP), and Liability Claims. Our team works behind the scenes to manage insurance, handle claims, and mitigate risks that protect our students, staff, and District property.

About Us

Insurance Compliance Unit (ICU): Reviews and verifies that vendors and business partners meet the District’s insurance standards to protect students, staff, and operations.


Owner Controlled Insurance Program (OCIP): Manages insurance coverage for contractors working specifically on District construction projects.


Liability Claims Unit: Oversees coverage and procedures regarding property damage and legal claims resulting from accidents.
