Civic Center Permits
The Civic Center Program enables the use of school facilities in accordance with the California Education Code, which permits public school facilities for the community and non-profit organizations to use. Risk Management's responsibility is to assess risk and insurance requirements for compliance, aiming to safeguard the District's Students, Personnel, Property and Licensees.
Insurance Guidelines

Non-LAUSD Entities and Third-party Individuals or Organizations Must Provide Proof of Insurance Before Using Any LAUSD Facility, Under a Civic Center Permit.

Required Coverage May Consist of Commercial General Liability, Commercial Automobile, Worker's Comp, Sexual Abuse & Molestations Insurance

Note That the Standard Insurance Requirements May Vary Based on the Types of Activity, Especially for Athletics, Refers to Civic Center Insurance Requirements: Non-athletic or Athletic for Details.
